Going Homeless for the Homeless 2007 Challenge - Journey Objectives
- To promote the work of the Wellspring Centre in and around Stockport, and to enhance links with similar organisations and motivate fellow volunteers.
- To highlight the work of voluntary organisations; who tackle homelessness issues across England and France.
- To raise £100,000 for the Wellspring and homeless charities.
- To cycle and K2 canoe 1001 miles (including crossing the channel) from Stockport to Beziers – the twin town of Stockport
- To create a new connection between Stockport and twin town Beziers through the voluntary work done by similar organisations.
