We welcome you to discover more about our daring 2007 challenge to tandem cycle and K2 canoe the journey from Stockport to Beziers. Brian Anthony who is registered blind, along with long standing fellow volunteer Peter McDonald from the the Wellspring center are taking their fund raising efforts even further in order to secure the future of their local homeless center. Dilapidated and threatened with compulsory purchase by the council, the Wellspring center has survived for 15 years serving thousands of visitors each year from the Cheshire and Greater Manchester region. Following on from previous trans-UK and round-Britain journeys, Brian and Peter now plan to K2 canoe the 30miles across the English channel as well as tandem cycle the 1000 miles between twin towns Stockport and Beziers. | |||
